Here’s another oldie. Maybelline Rhinestone Pink.

Here’s my final Christmas “mani.”  (Note: I really feel stupid saying that, but I haven’t been able to come up with a better alternative.)  It’s China Glaze Cranberry Splash (the gorgeous shimmery red) over an old Maybelline called Snow Perle. This probably would’ve looked better with a white like Orly Au Champagne, but I don’t own that one (yet).

First picture is Maybelline Downtown Brown, a relatively new fall release.  Second picture is a bottle-shot comparison with Cover Girl Chocolate Mint.  They look pretty durn similar, but you can see even then that the green shimmer is stronger in the Cover Girl.  The third picture has Chocolate Mint on my index and ring fingers, and you can see on the index that the shimmer is stronger than in the Maybelline.  It seems to me that the brown base appears a little lighter and redder in some lights, too.

Lastly, there’s a picture of my adorable kitty, Alfie.

I think I very possibly emitted a squee the first time I saw the Sally Hansen Salon Effects for Easter, and was especially keen on Mad for Plaid.  So, here it is on the accent nails (had to get my right hand in because I did a better job on that one) with Maybelline Sky Dive on the rest. (You may not be able to see it, but there’s an aqua stripe in the design.)
